Uranus turns direct today!

Uranus represents awakening. It’s like an earthquake, shaking things up so you can move forward in huge ways from just one small push. It’s like a well timed epiphany. It’s sudden, unexpected, and exactly what you need to know to get you where you want to go.

For the past seven years, Uranus has been in Aries. Aries is your self identity. It’s independence. It’s who you are. It’s the path you are here to walk. It’s your path, the path that no one else has walked before. The one that you are specifically here to carve out.

Aries energy requires us to be brave and to be bold.

As Uranus transits Aries, Uranus is working to clear the rubble to reveal the truth of who you are to yourself. You may have had preconceived ideas of the path you are meant to take but unless you’ve already been tuned into the awakening force of life, that has been totally and completely flipped on it’s head. Even if you are tuned in, things may still be flipping, it just seems like it’s less out of no where and more something you knew was coming anyways.

Uranus has been retrograde since August 3rd, 2017. When a planet is retrograde, it looks like it’s going backwards through the sky. This is just an illusion based on our positioning in comparison to Uranus’s orbit, but the energy effects are very much still real as Uranus will transit backwards through the Zodiac. This means on August 3rd Uranus was at 28 degrees Aries, and until today, it has been moving backwards, now resting at 24 degrees Aries. Like a zipper, Uranus’s retrograde movement slowly opens up what we have been going through to give us a chance to dive in deeper.

You may have been very aware of an inner call for some kind of change, but what that change is may not have been as obvious to you. Where normally Uranus may give you a pull that you can then act on and see direct results, the retrograde sends Uranus’s energy inward. To figure out what is pulling you you have to go deeper.

What has been persistently whispering to you whenever you try to ask what is it? Where have you been getting a nudge where you’ve been expecting a shove?

What kind of changes to your path have you been really feeling called towards? Even in the most subtle of ways?

You don’t have to have it all figured out, but what direction shift is it? Is it a move, a job change, a call for self discovery?

It doesn’t matter if you don’t know where to move to, what job is meant for you, or how you would even began to work on discovering more of who you are. All that matters is that you know you need to move in that direction. Once you know that, the ball can start rolling and the Universe, you, and your intuition can start working their magic.

As Uranus moves direct, it’s now time to really sink into what we are called to do and know that even when you don’t know what step comes after this one, it is time to get walking. Remember, Aries reminds us to be brave. It’s the first sign of the Zodiac. It is the pioneer. It is the maiden voyage. Who knows what will happen? What you do know it is meant to happen, so move in that direction and let the momentum follow later.

As Uranus keeps moving direct the next six months or so, the movement and success forward on your new found path will flow easily and abundantly. It’s okay to have faith in this new path. If you have been feeling uncertain if this is meant for you, if this change of direction is really the right self inspired move, this is your confirmation from the universe that it is. Where things have been stuck before, things are moving forward again.

Uranus is in it’s last year in Aries, so when it comes to the discovery and momentum you are creating right now, things are big. You are wrapping things up on this new awakening to your path. What has been in the works for the past seven years is about to be so clearly defined for you. It is time to go big, because going home really truly isn’t much of an option anymore.

Uranus is meant to help you move forward. It accelerates your growth more than you could ever imagine. It picks you up where you are and moves you to where you are supposed to be. This is amazing energy movement to tap into and be aware of. Chances are, you do want to make progress and growth so moving with this energy is so important right now. Even if fear is creeping up, ask yourself why this is important. Why do you have to make this change now, and what will it open up for you.

Imagine how much more you can do with Uranus when you don’t fight the pull, but go with it. It’s like the difference between running against the wind or with it. It’s so much nicer to have the push then the resistance.

Your path is changing, and that can be scary. But this path was always meant for you. You were always meant to have this bend, and it’s taking you right where you truly do want to go. Following Uranus means fulfillment and joy. This is an opportunity to heal if you need to, let go of what is no longer serving you, trust that the Universe has your best interest at heart, and go. Follow your intuition. Even if it’s just one step at a time.
