Happy Pisces Season! The Sun officially moves into Pisces on February 18th at 6:31 am. As a Pisces Sun myself this is by far one of my favorite parts of the year. It’s always such refreshing energy to dive into.

As always, the Sun represents the general spotlight for the month. It shows where and how we naturally seek out fun, what it’s like to live in the moment, to embrace our inner child, and to be creative from the heart. At times it can also represent themes of pride and ego, but when kept positive it’s heart and happiness.

Pisces energy tends to be very hard to define, which is actually perfect in representing what Pisces energy is truly like. Pisces has no definite edges. It’s edges, boundaries, and borders are diffuse, like a cloud or fog. It’s not an easy energy to pin down to a shape and you may find that as soon as you do pin it down it immediately shifts into something new. It’s changeable. It goes with the flow and is always morphing into something new. This energy is actually best understood through shapelessness. By diving straight into the chaos and feeling, not seeing, you will understand Pisces.

While the Sun is in Pisces, we may all find we are a bit more sensitive. We won’t have natural borders to defend our hearts and our hearts will tend to seep out in many ways. It’s a time where we may all be prone to picking up other people’s energy, taking it on as our own and projecting it onto our heart, believing it is our own, but this is just an illusion.

What Pisces Sun is really calling us to do is turn inward to our souls and our hearts, to connect with what truly lies within our hearts. For some this is best done through alone time, solitude which they can use for self-reflection and meditation. For others, they look into the soul through other people. Whichever it is, we have to be open to looking within. This is a time to call attention and to shine the spot light on the parts of you that lacks borders. We all have a part of us that bleeds into what we are around and it’s important to understand this side of who we are. Connect with your soul, what energy are you picking up and what energy are you putting out? Decide what it is you want for yourself and feel out what doesn’t belong.

Pisces is also a sign of manifestation. It’s dreamy. Stereotypical rose-colored glasses. With the mist and the fog, we can choose to see whatever we want to see. We can choose to create whatver we want to create. We have no borders, we have no boundaries. The oppurtunites are unlimited, you just have to make the most out of them.You have to be able to spin this Pisces dream world into reality. Set your intentions. Clear out your blocks, and any new blocks that come up along the way, and make things happen. Now is hte time to deide what it is you want. let this Pisces Sun shine a light on your truest desires, and then go all out for them. The only thing stopping you is you, so don’t be the boundary that keeps you stuck in something that isn’t the world of your dreams.
