Mercury opposes Uranus tomorrow at 3:48 am, eastern time.

Mercury is our mind and our mental processes. It’s our thoughts and how we communicate them. Right now it’s in Libra, meaning we base our words and our thoughts on the people we are talking to. We don’t want to rock the boat, but rather we want to speak harmoniously with others.

Opposite this right now is Uranus. Uranus is our unconventionality. It’s our pragmatic and innovative thought. It’s our energy to challenge the status quo. Right now it’s in Aries, so it’s very self driven while still feeling very new. We are challenging others in ways we never could have imagined, and we’re doing this for us. On the same note, others will be challenging us. Be prepared for opposing thought.

It’s possible that you are feeling passionate about something, but are afraid to talk about it. You know that your message is unexpected and unbalancing and you know you want to speak in a balanced way. Do what you can to get your message across, but it’s not a bad idea to do so gently. Find a happy medium. Go slow, disrupting the flow a little at a time, readjusting the balance as you go along, rather than doing anything to abrupt and forceful.

The ways in which you challenge others has value. Don’t be afraid to show that side of who you are. At the same, don’t be afraid to really listen and understand other people’s perspectives. You don’t have to agree with them, but if you want to properly communicate your own ideas, you have to understand the mindset of who you are talking to.

This is going to be going on at 22 Aries 19 and 22 Libra 19. In numerology, 22 is a master number. 2’s are all about balance, and 22 is two 2’s so it’s extra balancing energy. Whatever energy you create with another person will be significant and it will be harmonious.

Check to see if you have anything near these degrees in your chart. I generally use a 5 degree orb with transits, so look for 17 Aries 19 to 27 Aries 19 and 17 Libra 19 and 27 Libra 19. You can also check these degrees in Cancer or Capricorn for some harsh energy, or in Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, or Aquarius for some harmonious energy.

Personally, I have Neptune and Venus square this opposition, both in Capricorn. What I have to express to others is going to challenge my need for peace (on top of the peace that’s already being challenged) and my predisposition to pick up on other people’s energies and to take them on as my own. It’s also trine/sextile my Sagittarius Moon and my Leo Mars Rx, meaning this energy will benefit my sense of home, emotions, and family, perhaps affording me more freedom in the long run then what I’ve been used to as well as giving me a positive outlet for an area of self-expression I typically struggle with.
