Scorpios can be intense people. They are deeply passionate, especially in intimate relationships. They can be private, often mysterious, sometimes in a playful way. 

They have a deep inner vulnerability, but they don’t really want anyone to see it. They would much rather have you fear them then have you know that they could fear you. 

If you think about the scorpion, you probably think of the pinchers and the stinger and less so about how fragile the creature actual could be. Scorpios want you to know they have defense mechanisms set up both front and back so that you focus less on their inherent sensitivity, and more so on your own vulnerability. It’s their form of protection.
